Hello and thank you for showing interest in our studio! We are dedicated to our student's improvement and know that improvement comes through both the effort of the student as well as the instructor. As instructors, we show the way as best we can, and motivate our students to keep pushing to find their limits.
Master Roy Uttech: Head Instructor
Master Uttech has been training and teaching since 1979. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the World Tang Soo Do Association and the Regional Director for Alaska. He also is on the Governance Committee for the WTSDA. He regularly teaches at the Master's Clinic held annually in Alabama.
Ms. Lena Crane: Assistant Instructor
Ms. Crane has been training in Tang Soo Do since 1994 and teaching since 2000. She created the kids class curriculum and the regional written exam curriculum. Ms. Crane has competed in WTSDA regional and world tournaments as well as judged at world and regional tournaments. Ms. Crane has earned her 4th degree black belt.
Ms. Deena Jallen: Assistant Instructor
Ms. Jallen recently moved to Anchorage from Fairbanks, Alaska where she earned a 3rd degree black belt and has trained since 2004. She has competed in WTSDA regional and world tournaments, as well as judged at regional tournaments.
Mr. Simon Murphy: Assistant Instructor
Mr. Murphy has trained in Tang Soo Do since 2004. He moved to Anchorage in 2015 from the Lower 48, and he recently earned the rank of 3rd degree black belt under Master Uttech. Mr. Murphy has competed and judged at WTSDA competitions at the regional level. His current interests are physical fitness and hyungs.
Mr. Louie Raynor: Assistant Instructor
Mr. Raynor began training in Tang Soo Do in 1981. He enjoys tournament competition and has competed on the regional, national, and world level. Mr. Raynor is currently a 2nd degree black belt with the WTSDA and is one of the instructors for our kids program, and teaches class on alternating Saturdays.
Mrs. Jamie Lindemann: Assistant Instructor
Mrs. Lindemann started training with Alaska Tang Soo Do in 2006 and has earned her 1st degree black belt. She has participated and helped facilitate tournaments for the WTSDA. Mrs. Lindemann is one of the instructors for our kids program, and teaches class on alternating Saturdays.
